Office Manager-RN - FT, Monday-Friday

Location: Montgomery, AL

SCHEDULE:  Full-Time, Monday-Friday


The Office Manager is responsible for the management of the office personnel and daily operations of a multi-specialty physician practice system.  Offices include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Endocrinology, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Cardiology, Infectious Disease and OB/GYN located in various communities in the River Region.  Oversees Front Office Coordinators, Radiology Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators in multiple physician offices within the Jackson Clinic.  Responsible for patient satisfaction, personnel staffing, process improvements, and supply chain management.  Directly supervises the office personnel of the Jackson Clinic ensuring appropriate staffing and patient satisfaction are maintained.  Assists in setting up new physician offices for the Jackson Clinic.  Routinely travels to various satellite clinics in outlying communities and visits existing/potential referral sources for specialty practices.  Responsible for education of quality-based initiative programs such as PCMH recognition, Meaningful Use, and Value Based Payment with Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Responsible for the orientation, training, and development of office staff.  Assists the Operations Manager with employee performance evaluations.  Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of office policies and procedures.  Handles routine issues pertaining to billing, patient satisfaction, and physician needs.  Performs any other duties as deemed by Clinic Administrator.


Associates or Bachelorís Degree in Nursing.  Active Alabama Registered Nursing License.  Minimum of 5 years experience in physician office management in a multi-specialty setting preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication required, telephone etiquette, customer relationsí skills, CPT and ICD Coding.  Computer literate.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to utilize the PC and calculator.  Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time,  Verbal communication and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of patients and customers.  Ability to lift 25 pounds without difficulty.
